(EntertainWire.Org) – Commenting on today's blasts and hostage situation in Mumbai, India, Asia's most influential media host Glenn Rogers said in Hong Kong -- "People who target innocent civilians in or as an excuse for, their battle against particular countries are murderers of the lowest kind."

"The situation reflects the needs for policing agencies to invest in intelligence, IT and training to ensure that they prevent such situations which only reveal a glaring gap in their will and vision.

"The quality of policing in India is not even worthy of comment," he said adding that there was no use sending missions to space in a blatant show of economic and/or scientific muscle when the basics like shelter, food and security of the people remain subjects of international concern.

"We just have such a dismal quality of leadership in India that these blasts and hostage situations could hardly have been prevented. Indian security forces are ill trained, badly paid and under funded," he said adding that "the corruption of the system and lack of will of the Indian people to fix the system, is to blame for today's blasts."

"For far too long we have allowed the moral fiber of such a God-gifted country to be used and abused by the nation's political system. It is time, the people of India blame themselves for their own lack of resolve to fix what is clearly broken."
