And this is one hindi movie which is sure to have you reeling with laughter ! For the youngsters, it gels well with your college life, and for the not so youngs, 3 Idiots is a great way to remember your college days ! Lets dwell a bit on the storyline - Looks like its nowadays a trend with filmmakers to blend the present and the past in the storyline, especially when Aamir Khan is involved. Ghajini, Jaane Tu ya Jaane na, etc etc etc, and now 3 Idiots- the story weaves in and out of flashbacks and the present, and very seamlessly too !

A bit about the movie from http://www.moovyshoovy.com The 3 idiots in this hindi movie are 1 - Ranchordas Shamaldas Chanchad - alias Rancho - alias - Mr. S.W - alias Aamir Khan, 2 - Farhaan Qureshi - alias Madhavan, and 3 - Raju Rastogi - alias Sharmaan Joshi. They are classmates in an engineering college which has Viru Sahastrabudhhe - alias Boman Irani as principal. The first scene of Boman Irani in 3 Idiots rerminded me of his first scene in Munnabhai MBBS - where he had a very memorable introduction of himself as J dot Asthana. Coming back to the story, the three idiots come quite close during their time in college, after which Rancho suddenly dissapears. The rest of the story revolves around where could he be, a search for him 10 years down the line, all packed with loads of laughter.

The movie is somewhere based on Chetan Bhagat's debut novel - 5 Point Someone, which deals with the life of an IIT'ian.
