Ms. Rulli is author of "Goodbye Natalie Goodbye Splendour," and Mr. Davern was the captain onboard the yacht, Splendour, at the time of the star’s death. Davern was the only person there that night besides Wood, her husband, Robert Wagner, and Christopher Walken. And since Wagner has declared the case closed and Walken’s not talking … Davern’s the voice to be heard. Finally.

In "Goodbye Natalie Goodbye Splendour," Rulli and Davern suggest the investigation was insufficient, and that Wagner received special treatment because of celebrity status. Many questions have never been publicly addressed. Wood’s bruises were never recorded in the official autopsy. Wagner waited to radio ashore that his wife was missing. He also refused to allow Davern to use a boat light to search the dark waters. Why?
