(EntertainWire.Org) – GNP (Gross Net Profit) is an up and coming hip hop duo, on the rise to becoming a staple on the West Coast music scene. Gross Net Profit members Johnny (P/L.O) Cato and Michael (EMJ/GZ) Jones are childhood friends from one of the roughest projects on the streets of southeast Los Angeles. While growing up in the Jordan Down Housing Projects , GNP decided to put their musical talents together in search of a better way of life for themselves as well as others. With a combination of soulful beats, hard lyrics with no profanity, swift suspenseful constant word play, and swag'd out smooth slow flow, GNP came together and produced a medley of hip hop and R&B tracks. Their songs contain an array of hypnotizing hooks, and lyrical prowess. GNP are on their way to rocking the clubs, and putting themselves, as well as helping to lift their city of Watts, in the forefront of the Hip Hop World!
