showcasing live music performances by European and North American artists. Music and film are inseparable; the mission of Access Film-Music Ltd. is to connect Music- Makers with Film-Makers. ÉCU’s partnership with IFT brings the very best in filmmaking talent with the French freebox channel dedicated exclusively to screening quality independent cinema. Films screened by IFT include Caramel (Lebanon), Head-On (Germany), Historias Minimas (Argentina), In the Mood for Love (Hong Kong), Joyeuses Funérailles (USA), La Cité de Dieu (Brazil). The European Independent Film Festival 2010, in partnership with G-Technology by Hitachi, will showcase 72 films from 27 countries, ranging in genre from feature films, shorts, documentaries, animation, student and experimental films. The Official Selection will represent the pinnacle of independent filmmaking talent from around the world. ECU 2010 will take place on the 12th, 13th and 14th of March at two venues, Cinema Le Grand Action and the independent theatre Le Triomphe, both located in the heart of Paris’ Latin Quarter.
