Brooklyn healthcare facility network reverts to paper charts for months after cyberattack

A community of a few hospitals in Brooklyn, New York, has had to work off paper charts for weeks adhering to a cyberattack on its laptop systems in late November, the hospital group’s chief executive advised CNN Monday.

The hack influenced “clinical purposes,” such as “those employed for imaging and other significant products and services,” but quite a few of people applications have been restored, A person Brooklyn Wellbeing CEO LaRay Brown claimed in an email.
